Administrative Border Works were started in collaboration with General Directorate of Provincial Administration

In the scope of Project of Updating and Digitizing Administrative Borders, which is held in conjunction with TurkStat and General Directorate of Provincial Administration, pilot digitization works of border documents prepared in 1938, 1953 & 1959 are conducted. As a result of this study, border disputes the load of juridical authorities in this regard will be eliminated and to put current and accurate administrative boundary data to the service of the country will be achieved.

Administrative borders of Ankara Province – Çamlıdere District have been studied in coordination of General Directorate of Geographic Information Systems.

National Spatial Data Standard specification works are still continuing.
