General Director of Geopraphic Information Systems Dr. Bekir TÜZEL has visited the Governor of Kırşehir Necati ŞENTÜRK and Mayor of Kırşehir Yaşar BAHÇECİ relating to the work carried out within the scope of the Project “Determination of the Urban Renewal Area and In Order To Establish Disaster Scenarios Examining and Developing the Establishing of Geographic Information System Based On Automation System Using The Data of Local Governments”.
The project was discussed in Kırşehir Provincial Coordination Committee Meeting held on January 20, 2015. General Director Dr. Bekir TÜZEL, Head of Department Süleyman Salih BİRHAN from the General Directorate of Geographic Information Systems; Head of Department Coşkun SAĞIR, Civil Engineer Zuhal TOZLU, Geological Engineer Ümit Salim USTAOĞLU, Survey Engineer Mustafa GÜMÜŞ ve Geophysics Engineer Görkem ŞİMŞEK from the General Directorate of Infrastructure and Urban Transformation Systems and Provincial Deputy Director of Environmet and Urbanisation Necmettin ŞEKER has attended to the said meeting.
With the project, all Municipalities and the Special Provincial Administration in the province Kırsehir were included in the pilot study area. Head Birhan, who has informed the participants with regard to this point in the project, has declared that the data that will be managed within the system had collected in 90% of the whole Kırşehir and also software development work had largely completed.
